CROWDSTAX: APPS BREAK FREE

Terms of Service

Effective September 11, 2026 · Last updated September 11, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of Crowdstax: Apps Break Free and apps.crowdstax.com (the “Service”), operated by Crowdstax (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.

These terms apply specifically to Apps Break Free. Crowdstax’s separate product-launch and community website has its own terms. Purchasing or downloading apps through Apple’s App Store is also subject to Apple’s terms and the relevant app developer’s license and terms.

1. What the Service provides

Apps Break Free helps you discover iPhone apps, view public App Store information, save a watchlist, observe recorded price and version changes, and receive selected alerts. The current Service is in development. Features may change, be unavailable, or contain errors.

We do not sell the third-party apps listed in the catalog, process their App Store purchases, or control their content, support, pricing, availability, subscriptions, or refunds. Apple and the relevant developers control those matters.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 and satisfy any higher age or consent requirements that apply where you live. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms on your own, use the Service only with the permission and involvement of a parent or guardian who can do so. If you use the Service for an organization, you must have authority to act for it.

You can browse available public information without signing in. An account is required to save watches and use account-specific features. You are responsible for protecting your Apple, Google, or email account and for activity you authorize. Do not impersonate another person, share unauthorized access, or provide misleading account information. Contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

3. Prices, history, and notifications

Prices are informational snapshots, primarily from the US App Store, and may differ by country, currency, taxes, device, account eligibility, or time. Confirm the final price and purchase conditions in the App Store before completing a transaction.

Price history begins with our observations; it is not a complete history of an app’s pricing. We do not continuously monitor every app, and a price change may occur between checks. Labels such as “on sale” or “became free” describe observed changes and do not guarantee that an offer is still available.

Notifications depend on successful observations, your watch and preference settings, notification permissions, connectivity, and third-party delivery services. They can be delayed, missing, duplicated, or outdated. A target price is an alert preference, not an order to buy an app. We do not make purchases for you or guarantee that you will receive an alert before a price changes again.

4. Acceptable use

You may use the Service for lawful app discovery and personal watchlists. You must not:

These restrictions do not limit rights that applicable law does not allow us to restrict.

5. Ownership and app licensing

Crowdstax retains its rights in the Service’s original code, design, branding, and content. Third-party app names, icons, screenshots, descriptions, and trademarks remain the property of their respective owners. A listing does not imply endorsement, affiliation, or sponsorship by that developer, Apple, or Google.

Subject to these terms and applicable distribution rules, you may use the Service for its intended purposes. For a copy distributed through Apple’s App Store, Apple’s Standard End User License Agreement applies to the app license unless a custom EULA is supplied through the App Store. These service terms supplement that license; they do not replace Apple’s terms or mandatory consumer rights.

Information you provide

You remain responsible for information and materials you send us, including support messages and attachments. You must have permission to provide them and must not include unlawful, misleading, infringing, or confidential third-party material. You retain your rights in your materials and permit us to process them as needed to respond, operate the requested service, investigate abuse, and comply with law, consistent with our Privacy Policy. This permission does not make your watchlist or support correspondence public or authorize their use in advertising.

Copyright and takedown requests

Rights holders or their authorized representatives can email support@crowdstax.com to report alleged infringement. Include the app listing or page, the work and material at issue, your authority to act, contact details, and why you believe the use is unauthorized. We may request further information and restrict or remove material while reviewing the report. Repeated infringement may lead to account restrictions where appropriate.

6. Charges and third-party purchases

The current development build does not offer paid subscriptions or in-app purchases for Apps Break Free. Third-party apps discovered through the Service may charge for downloads, subscriptions, or in-app content. Those purchases are separate from Apps Break Free and subject to the relevant seller’s terms and Apple’s purchase and refund processes.

If we introduce paid features, we will disclose their price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms before you purchase. These terms do not authorize future charges or enroll you in a subscription.

Paid Pro and Sponsor launch plans on the main Crowdstax website are separate services and do not purchase app features or preferential placement in Apps Break Free. Any future sponsored or affiliate placement in this app will be identified in context. A catalog listing or price alert is not a promise of editorial endorsement, savings, traffic, or another outcome.

7. Privacy and communication

Our Privacy Policy describes account information, watchlists, push registration, service providers, retention, and your choices. You control push permissions through your device and alert preferences through the app. We may send messages necessary to respond to your requests or address account, security, and legal matters.

If an accessibility barrier prevents you from using the app or reading these terms, contact support@crowdstax.com with the affected screen and a description of the difficulty. You can request assistance without disclosing unnecessary health or other sensitive information.

8. Availability, changes, and ending use

We may maintain, update, limit, suspend, or discontinue features for technical, business, security, or legal reasons. We may restrict or suspend access when reasonably necessary to address misuse, a breach of these terms, security risks, or legal requirements. Where practical and appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve an issue.

You may stop using the Service at any time. Signing out or deleting the app does not delete server-side account information. To request deletion of your Apps Break Free account, contact support@crowdstax.com; see the Privacy Policy for details. Contact the same address if you believe an access restriction was applied in error.

9. Disclaimers and responsibility

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without guarantees of uninterrupted operation, complete or accurate catalog data, savings, successful notification delivery, or suitability of any third-party app. You should independently evaluate an app and its purchase conditions.

To the extent permitted by law, Crowdstax is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, lost opportunities, or missed price offers arising from use of the Service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or other protected claims, or limits mandatory consumer guarantees and remedies.

Third-party claims and professional advice

App descriptions and developer claims may be supplied by third parties and are not independently verified in every case. Discovery information is not professional advice or a guarantee of an app’s safety or suitability. Review the developer’s terms, privacy policy, permissions, and purchase conditions before using it.

Responsibility for misuse

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for third-party claims and resulting reasonable losses, liabilities, and expenses caused by your unlawful misuse of the Service, breach of these terms, or infringement of another person’s rights. We may request reasonable cooperation in addressing such claims. This does not make you responsible for Crowdstax’s own wrongful conduct or override mandatory consumer protections.

10. Resolving issues and applicable rights

Please first contact support@crowdstax.com so we can try to resolve a concern. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive class-action rights, or require a specific court or jurisdiction. Applicable law determines your rights and the appropriate forum. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the Service changes. We will publish the revised terms with an updated date and provide appropriate notice of material changes. Changes will apply prospectively, subject to applicable law and any required consent. If you do not agree to updated terms, stop using the Service and contact us about closing your account.
